05/12/2025; I hate pools

Sitting at a pool and trying to be happy but I can’t remember the last time I’ve been happy at a pool.

I hate my body. Being at a pool when you hate your body is the actual worst. Also, beaches are just pools but worse. Pools mean I have to expose parts of my body that should only be seen in the safety of four walls, and at that, in dark hard to see in ones.

But I brought No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai. I thought it would be nice because that guy hated himself too.
